Subscription, Cancellation & Refunds

One subscription unlocks all paid content, on every platform, under one account. The Fundamentals chapters are always free — try them first; that's the demo. There is no separate trial period.
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Prices are in USD; local taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, from your account page or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancelling simply stops future renewals:
- You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for (the month, or the year).
- After that, paid content locks. Nothing is deleted — your progress, notebook, and review history stay, the free chapters stay playable, and reviewing your own past mistakes keeps working.
- Resubscribe any time and everything unlocks again instantly, exactly where you left off.
Your account data is kept for 3 years after your last payment (see the Privacy Policy), so even a long break won't cost you your progress.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds. Instead of a refund window, we offer:
- free chapters that let you fully evaluate the app before paying,
- a cheap monthly plan ($3) if you don't want to commit to a year, and
- cancel-anytime with access to the end of what you paid for.
Exceptions are made only where a refund is required by applicable consumer law or by the payment processor's own policies. To raise one of those cases, contact support@tanukisensei.app.
Failed renewal payments
If a renewal charge fails (e.g. an expired card), paid content locks when your paid period ends. Fix the payment method and access returns immediately. Your data is unaffected.
